The HJC RPHA-11 is the most advanced full-face helmet in the HJC range. The helmet is designed for track use at the highest level. It will not surprise that this is the helmet worn by HJC sponsored riders during the races.

The helmet shell is manufactured according to the P.I.M Plus, Premium Integrated Matrix Plus, method. This method uses glass fiber, aramid and carbon to create a very light (about 1300 grams) but very strong helmet shell. The different helmet sizes of this helmet are distributed over 3 helmet shells. The shape of the shell was specially tested in wind tunnels to be as aerodynamic as possible. For the same reasons, a spoiler was placed on the back of the head.

No expense nor effort was spared in developing the ventilation of the RPHA-11, to provide the sporty rider with as much fresh air as possible during the race. On the chin there are 3 vents: 1 closable one that blows directly on the inside of the visor to prevent fogging and 2 closable ones which supply the rider directly with fresh air. The latter two have even been equipped with a filter. On the brow, there is closable ventilation that cools the forehead of the rider directly. On the top of the helmet there are 2 ventilations which can be set to no less than 6 different positions, between fully open or closed. At the back of the helmet there are 6 non closable air outlets, so that warm air can certainly escape. The ventilations and air outlets are connected to each other through the ‘ACS’ system (Advanced Channeling Ventilation System). These are integrated air channels in the inner shell that distribute fresh air over the entire head of the rider.

The RPHA-11 comes standard with both a clear and a dark tinted visor, both made of scratch resistant material. Both visors are Pinlock as well as tear-off ready. The Pinlock lens is included, the tear-off films can be purchased separately. Thanks to the RapidFire Shield Replacement System, the visor can be replaced easily and without tools, possibly by a visor in a different color. The visor can be locked in the closed position so that it remains fully closed, even at high racing speeds. A treatment on the outside of the visor with Rain-X anti-rain spray improves visibility during rain showers.

The chin strap of the RPHA-11 closes by means of a Double-D ring buckle, the only closure allowed for use on the race track. In case of emergency, the emergency services can remove the helmet more easily thanks to the provided Emergency Cheek Pads.
