The Alpinestars Tech-Air 3 System is a self-contained motorcycle airbag vest that inflates in 50 milliseconds once it detects the start of a crash. It is built for commuters, touring riders and light adventure riders who want airbag protection without buying a dedicated airbag jacket.
Because it is slim and fully autonomous, you can wear it over a jacket or under a roomy textile or leather jacket, which makes it practical for daily rides around Dubai and longer weekend tours. Alpinestars tested its first impact performance at 25 to 63 km/h, and the electronics are waterproof for riding in all conditions.
