The Kovea Alpine Pot Wide Up is an all in one stove and pot system for fast boiling on hikes, desert camps and boat trips. A heat exchanger welded to the base of the 1.5 L pot uses the flame twice as efficiently, so it brings 1 L of water to the boil in about 3 minutes at half burner power and uses less gas doing it.
The burner sits inside the pot skirt, out of the wind, and locks to the pot so you can hold the whole system while it runs. A clear lid shows when the water boils, a neoprene sleeve and folding handles make it easy to pour, and everything nests inside the pot for packing. It runs on threaded (Lindal) gas cartridges, sold separately.
