The Leatherman Signal is a 213 g survival multi-tool that adds a ferrocerium fire-starting rod, a safety whistle, a diamond-coated sharpener and a hammer surface to pliers, a 420HC combo blade and a bit driver.
It is made for campers, hikers and overlanders heading into the desert, the Hajar Mountains or the wadis, where one tool needs to light a fire, fix gear and signal for help. Every feature except the plier head locks open, the outside tools open with one hand, and the pocket clip is removable. At 11.4 cm closed it fits a pocket or a pack hip belt. Sheath sold separately.
