The Mares Viper Pro DS is a band-powered speargun: it is driven by rubber bands, not air, so there is no pneumatic chamber to pump or service. A rigid 28 mm anodised aluminium barrel with an upper shaft guide and lower line guide, twin 16 mm S-Power Speed circular bands with a Dyneema wishbone and a 6.5 mm single-barb Tahitian shaft make it a gun for experienced spearfishers going after larger fish.
