The RIVA GEN-3 Power Cooler is an intercooler upgrade for the 2021 and newer Yamaha GP1800R SVHO and GP SVHO. Its large cooler core is rated for up to 600 hp and, per RIVA, adds 20 peak horsepower over the stock intercooler by delivering cooler, denser air across the rev range, which matters on hot days on the water.
It is powder coated and anodised against corrosion, uses replaceable sacrificial zinc anodes to protect the core, and has a quick-release flushing system to keep it clean after salt water rides. It mounts on a shock-absorbing rubber system with stainless hardware; all hardware and detailed instructions are included. RIVA notes it requires the Engine Cooling Upgrade Kit, part RY10081-ECUK-PC, sold separately.
