PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Salvimar 14 mm pole spear is a light, accurate hand spear in anodised Ergal aluminium for spearfishing close to the reef and rocks. It is a good first tool for new spearfishers in the UAE and a quiet, simple backup for experienced hunters.
Choose the 160 cm two piece pole, which breaks down for travel, or the compact 80 cm short pole for holes and tight spots. Each comes with an elastic loop and a 6 mm (M6) threaded tip, either a three prong stainless paralyzer or a single barb harpoon tip.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which length should I choose? ▼
The 160 cm two piece pole gives more reach for open water and splits in two for travel. The 80 cm short pole (about 105 cm with the tip) is easier to handle in holes, caves and tight reef spots.
What is the difference between the paralyzer and the harpoon tip? ▼
The paralyzer is a three prong stainless tip for small fish at close range. The harpoon tip is a single barbed point that holds larger fish more securely.
Can I fit other tips? ▼
Yes. The pole uses a standard M6 (6 mm) thread. Tips with a 7 mm thread need an M6 to M7 adapter.
Is a pole spear allowed in the UAE? ▼
Spearfishing rules differ by emirate and area. Check the local regulations for where you plan to dive before you hunt.
