The Zipp 808 Firecrest is an 80 mm deep carbon front wheel for disc brake triathlon, time trial and aero road bikes, sold here as the front wheel only. That depth is made for holding high speed on flat courses and long solo efforts, which is exactly the riding most UAE triathletes do on open desert roads.
The hookless rim has a 23 mm internal width and takes ISO or TSS tubeless tyres from 28 to 32 mm, run tubeless or with a tube. It uses the Zipp ZR1 disc hub, a 12 x 100 mm thru axle and a Center Lock rotor, with the lockring included.
