The Zipp Super-9 is a full carbon disc rear wheel for triathletes and time trialists on disc brake bikes who want the fastest rear wheel they can fit for flat courses and races against the clock. Its hookless, tubeless only rim has a 23 mm internal width and is built around 28 mm tyres, with a claimed weight of about 1050 g.
It runs the Zipp ZR1 hub with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement, a 12 x 142 mm thru axle, a Center Lock disc interface and a SRAM XDR driver for SRAM 12-speed road cassettes. Our distributor lists a TyreWiz 2.0 pressure sensor, pump chuck adapter, lockring, wheel bag and disc protector in the box.

This Super-9 comes with a SRAM XDR driver body, for SRAM 12-speed road cassettes. A Shimano road driver is a different version, so message us before ordering if you ride Shimano.
What tyre size does the Super-9 need?▼
It is a hookless, tubeless only rim with a 23 mm internal width. Zipp gives 28 mm as both the minimum and the optimal tyre width, at a maximum of 73 psi (5.0 bar).
Will the Super-9 fit my bike?▼
It needs a disc brake frame with a 12 x 142 mm rear thru axle and a Center Lock rotor. It does not fit rim brake or quick release frames.
What comes in the box with the Super-9?▼
Our distributor lists a TyreWiz 2.0 pressure sensor, a pump chuck adapter, the Center Lock lockring, a wheel bag and a disc protector.
