The Sea to Summit Nano Mosquito Head Net Permethrin Treated is a featherlight bug net that goes over your head and hat to keep mosquitoes off your face, with a fine 80 holes per square centimetre hexagonal mesh treated with permethrin repellent. It is made for campers, anglers and kayakers who spend dawn and dusk outdoors.
In the UAE it earns its place on winter camping trips, evening fishing sessions and mangrove paddles, when mosquitoes are most active near water. The black mesh is easier to see through than white mesh, the elasticised drawcord closes it at the neck, and it packs into its own tiny pouch that lives in any bag.

Is this head net treated with insect repellent?▼
Yes. This version is treated with permethrin, which adds a repellent layer on top of the fine 80 holes per cm2 mesh. Sea to Summit also makes an untreated Nano Head Net.
Can I see clearly through the mesh?▼
Yes. The mesh is black, which Sea to Summit uses because it gives better visibility than white mesh, and the hexagonal pattern lets air through.
How does it fit and pack?▼
