The principle is simple: the Alpinestars Cooling Vest is essentially a sort of refillable water tank, where the combination of the water with the riding wind has a general cooling effect on the entire upper body. It prevents your body temperature from skyrocketing and does so in a way that is very comfortable, light and pleasant.

The big difference with many other cooling jackets is that this Cooling Vest is not immersed in water. The wearer stays dry. You put the Cooling Vest on over a T-shirt, but underneath your motorcycle jacket, and it is the combination of your body temperature, the outside air and the evaporation effect, that draws heat from the environment and keeps your body temperature.
