The iLH8 is a comfortable EX lantern that is classified for zone 2/22 and has 280 lumens.
The lantern has been specially developed for EX zone 2/22, with gases up to IIC and T4 and dust up to IIIC and T135?.
The EX series has lanterns that can be used in areas where there are strict requirements for electrical equipment. EX approval is a requirement for electrical equipment to be used at workplaces and in areas with a risk of explosion. For example, transport of dangerous goods/ADR, the oil industry or coal mining.
The iLH8 headlamp is equipped with an extra large magnetic switch, so that it is easy to handle with gloves on. The headlamp has a rubberized inside of the headband which provides a good grip on the helmet, and it is also supplied with a cross band for the headband for individual adaptation.
The lantern has an Advanced Focus System, which allows you to easily set the light cone from wide to narrow. Set to minimum brightness it lights up for up to 38 hours, set to maximum brightness it lights up for 9 hours. The maximum brightness is 280 lumens, which provides good light out to 160m.
iLH8 has two light programs: Power and Low Power. It uses 3 x Mignon (AA) 1.5V batteries. The lantern weighs 345 grams including batteries.
