Trekking poles Masters Summit
High-quality Summit Light trekking poles are very comfortable to use, thanks to special adjustable handles with the Automatic Stop system . Their indisputable advantage is also an extremely durable tip, which enables immediate removal of the baskets. The sticks fully deserve to be called universal. If necessary, they can be easily adapted for movement on sandy or snowy ground and suitable spikes can be selected. The product is sold together with a pair of compatible baskets.
Palmo handles were used in the Summit Light poles , the outer part of which is made of EVA foam . This solution is soft to the touch, provides a firm grip and is ergonomic, plus it adapts to the shape of the hand and the strength of the handle. In addition, EVA foam is resistant to low temperatures (up to -45°C), while maintaining good elasticity, chemical stability and wear resistance; it is anti-allergic, non-toxic and resistant to bacteria.
In addition, Cruise Carbide was used in the poles , i.e. tungsten carbide tips, which are the most durable solution available for trekking poles. They are made of tungsten and carbon grains that are bonded in a metal matrix. There are many different types of tungsten carbide. Masters clubs use the best variety produced by the German company SITEK.

Technologies used in sticks
- ALUTECH 7075™ – Excellent aluminum and zinc alloy: lightweight and resistant to impact, stress and bending. Trade name: Ergal™. It is an excellent aluminum alloy, resistant to very large temperature changes, thanks to which it finds application in the aviation industry, especially in structural parts.
- EVO STRAP™ – this is primarily the Automatic Stop System® , quick adjustment, a wider strap for greater comfort and the absence of an additional buckle (everything is lighter and easier to adjust). Thanks to the use of a unique patented automatic alloy mechanism (Automatic Stop System®), the strap is safe and comfortable to use. The strap with automatic alloy mechanism is easy to adjust and lock in the correct, comfortable position. In the event of a fall, the strap automatically unlocks and frees the hand, preventing possible wrist injury.
- BS BLOCKING SYSTEM™ – The red head is the hallmark of the BS “Blocking System”. Made of DuPont® plastic, it guarantees the preservation of useful properties for a long time, at high and low temperatures.
- TIP-TOP SYSTEM™ – is literally the best of the best: the innovative shape and reliability of the plate and tip will satisfy the demands of every athlete.
- TIP END – it is 9 mm longer than the threaded tips of older sticks, has a length of 69 mm and is equipped with a ring with a diameter of 35 mm (compared to the previous one with a diameter of 25 mm), with guide rails for fixing the TOP saucer.
- TALINEC TOP – The TOP plate is suitable for the TIP end, has an innovative shape and an economical form. It is equipped with an innovative assembly and disassembly system. Assembly consists of inserting the saucer along the guide rail and securing the position by turning the saucer in the opposite direction to the clockwise direction. For disassembly, all you have to do is fold the three flaps at the same time and turn the saucer clockwise until it is released from the guide rails of the TIP end.
- Additional feature: the possibility of shortening the tip by 1/3 for use on fresh snow when going uphill; it is the ideal solution for people who need stable support adapted to the slope of the terrain.
- DuPont® MATERIALS – guarantee the possibility of use at temperatures from -50°C to +40°C. All plastics are resistant to temperature changes, weather changes and frost: this is possible thanks to the excellent properties that polymer plastics exhibit at temperatures below freezing.
